Workout 2012 – Old’s Gym
I weighed myself today so clearly the excitement never ends around here. As it has been for quite some time, maybe 2 years or more, I’m around 163 lbs with shorts, shoes, and a t-shirt. I’m guessing that puts me in the neighborhood of 160 lbs even when I’m butt naked. That’s a comfortable weight for me at this stage of life. Granted, I’d love to be 175 lbs of lean, solid muscle, but I don’t have the dedication to eat and train my way back up to that weight. Plus I like having a higher level of cardio and less knee pain, both of which come with the lower weight. I realize that I could be much leaner if I was willing to drop to 150 lbs, but that just seems so tiny to me. I haven’t been that light since I was around 18 years old, just before I started training with weights. If all goes well, I’ll remain at my current weight by adding a bit more muscle and removing a bit more fat. That’s my 2012 goal. I also want to be rich, famous, and taller. No doubt those are all achievable dreams.
